The short answer

A multi-point inspection typically checks brakes, tires, suspension, steering, belts, hoses, fluids, battery, lights, wipers, exhaust and any stored trouble codes. It gives you a red-yellow-green snapshot of what needs attention now, soon, or not at all.

What gets checked

Brake pad thickness, tire tread depth, fluid levels and condition, belt and hose condition, battery health, lights and wipers, and suspension play.

How to read the results

Green items are fine, yellow items should be planned for, and red items need attention soon for safety.

Why it's valuable

Catching a weeping water pump or thin brake pads early is cheaper than a breakdown.
